How did it all start?

After 50 years of history, another dream comes true for the club, ascending to the Third Division of the 'Real Federación Española de Fútbol'

It all begins in the 22/23 season, with a very united and prepared squad that promised to go far. As the matchdays passed, the standings were taking shape, while our regional team was climbing positions. After months of work and sacrifice, San Bartolomé C.F. finished the league in playoff spots with only U.D. Las Palmas 'C' ahead, which would not play in the playoffs due to the presence of their 'B' team already in the second division.

This is how the standings looked after the 28 matchdays were completed.

After facing and defeating Unión Viera 1-0 in the first leg of the playoffs, played at our Pedro Espinosa Colón field, the 0-0 draw at Alfonso Silva, in Gran Canaria, served our team led by Juan Antonio Machín to achieve the promotion.

The team was supported in Gran Canaria by around 200 Lanzarote fans, who extended their celebration to the Lanzarote airport, where they were welcomed by numerous fans.
